Title: Determination of Baicalin Baicalein and Wogonin in Antai Pills by HPLC
Abstract: Objective To establish an HPLC method for determining the content of baicalin,baicalein and wogonin in Antai Pills.Methods The separation was carried out on an Agilent Zorbax SB-C_(18)(4.6 mm × 150 mm,5 μm).The mobile phase consisted of 0.1%phosphoric acid(A) and methanol(B),with gradient elution.The flow rate was 1.0 ml ·min~(-1),the detection wavelength was set at 275 nm,the column temperature was 25 ℃,the injection volume was 10 μl,and the running time was 45 min.Results The three compounds and the unknown were separated with baseline resolution.The linear range was 25.06- 501.2 μg ·ml~(-1)(r =0.9999) for baicalin,2.498-49.96 μg·ml~(-1)(r =0.9999) for baicalein,1.562-31.24 μg·ml~(-1) r =0.9999) for wogonin,respectively.The average recovery was 100.79%with RSD 1.32%for baicalin,101.12%with RSD 1.34%for baicalein and 101.73%with RSD 1.28%for wogonin(n =6).Conclusion This method is quick,user-friendly,accurate,robust and suitable for quality control of Antai Pills.
