Title: Technical methods of ground penetrating radar in the detection of buried pipelines for electric power engineering
Abstract: GPR is an effective method in the detection of buried pipelines for electric power engineering. In order to improve the accuracy of pipeline detection,to reduce the risks of engineering construction,we started from ground-penetrating radar field data collection,studied ground-penetrating radar applied in pipeline survey data collection method( including field geometry,avoiding interference object,etc.) and interior of subsequent data processing strategy. For pipeline detection,the application of the suppression of multiple wave with predictive deconvolution technique and profile display with non-linear color grading are the keys to improve the accuracy of data interpretation. Through a case study of power tunnel of underground pipeline detection the validity of proposed approach is tested.
