Title: A Case Study of Detecting Underground Pipeline by RIS Ground Penetrating Radar
Abstract: Ground Penetrating Radar is one of the most widely used non-destructive detection technology. In this paper, the authors detect the distribution of underground drainage at south of Xinyue Lake in Henan Polytechnic University with RIS high-precision ground-penetrating radar from IDS company in Italy.Through the analysis on the physical differences of the pipeline and its surrounding medium, the relevant parameters are set to collect data.By data processing and interpretation, the location and burial depth of drainage channels are ultimately settled.Through practical verification, the result of GPR's interpretation is basically consistent with the actual pipeline distribution at the work area.
