Title: Clinical Observation of Esophageal Carcinoma Treated with Radiotherapy Combined with Chemotherapy
Abstract: Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy with Cisplatin,Vinorelbine for the advanced stage of esophageal carcinoma.Methods:Sixty-two patients were randomly divided into radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy group(study group,n=30)and pure radiotherapy group(control group,n=32),The study group were re- ceived 3~4 cycles of NP chemotherapy.while the control group were only given radiotherapy.Results:The short-term effect rate of the two group were 83.0% and 78.0%,respectively survival rates of one,two and three years were 76.6%,55.5%,40. 05 and 49.0%,31.0%,21.0%(P0.05).respectively disease free survival rates of one,two and three years were 70.2%, 43.2%,22.0% and 42.0%,20.5%,18.0%(P0.05).respectively survival rate and disease free survival rate of study group were higher than control group.The side effect of study group(30.0%)was higher than control group(6.3%)(P0.05).Con- clusion:Radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy for esophageal carcinoma has synergistic action.
