Title: APPLICATION OF CONTRAST-ENHANCED MAGNETIC RESONANCE ANGIOGRAPHY IN THE PORTAL VENOUS SYSTEM
Abstract: Objective:To evaluate the application of CEMRA in the portal venous system. Methods:CEMRA was performed on 20 patients with HCC(6 cases), portal vein hypertension(6 cases), portal vein thrombosis(3 cases) ,FNH(1 case) and patients without liver disease (4 cases). Peak time of portal vein and scan time were confirmed by testing bolus injection . 30ml Gd DTPA was administrated on every patient. All images were reconstructed with MIP. Occlusion, stenosis and varices of the portal venous system were evaluated. Results:The peak time of portal vein was 30~40 s. All diseases of the portal venous system were clearly demonstrated in CEMRA.Conclusion:CEMRA is an effective technique for the imaging of portal venous system.
