Title: Investigation and Analysis of the Anxiety Status of Nurses of Psychiatric Department
Abstract: Objective To explore the anxiety status of the nurse of psychiatric department. Method The Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) was used in 105 nurses of psychiatric department for investigation and analysis. Results The average marks of anxiety in nurses of psychiatric department was 47.61±8.37. It was higher than the normal model in our country and there was significantly difference between them (P0.05). The rate of anxiety status among the nurses was 41.0%. Characteristic feature of the crowd inclined to get severe anxiety status were age from 30 to 40, marital status and introversion. Conclusion Psychological service and effective social support should be provided for nurses of psychiatric department in order to decrease the rate of anxiety status and improve their psychologic health standard.
