Title: Green synthesis of Cu_2O and Cu nanocrystals by the hydrothermal method
Abstract: Cu2O nanocrystallines with the well-controlled morphology have successfully been synthesized using ethylene glycol as reductant by a hydrothermal method, based on green chemistry. The final samples were characterized by X- ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. Finally, the possible growth mechanism of the Cu2O formation was also discussed.
