Title: Continuous glucose monitoring in prevention and treatment of gestational diabetes mellitus
Abstract: Objective To study the effect of continuous glucose monitoring for the prevention and treatment of gestational diabetes mellitus, and provide a theoretical basis for clinical prevention and treatment of gestational diabetes mellitus. Methods From 2011 March to 2013 December in our hospital obstetrics and gynecology using monitoring of blood glucose of GDM will block were analyzed according to the method of blood sugar monitoring in patients with. Results Studies found that, after the meal 0.5 h, 1 h and 2 h blood glucose levels, observation group, respectively(7.9± 2.2) mmol/L,(8.1±2.4)mmol/L and(7.6±2.3) mmol/L, and the control group(9.1±3.7) mmol/L,(9.3±3.2) mmol/L and(8.7± 2.7) mmol/L comparison, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).And in terms of hypoglycemic events, observation group only 2 m, whereas the control up to 8 m, were statistically significant(P 0.05). Conclusion Continuous glucose monitoring system can have a more comprehensive understanding of the changes in blood glucose of patients, continuous glucose monitoring system can meet the requirements for the control of blood glucose in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus.
