Abstract: This paper launchs a brief analysis and evaluation to the diluent in the disposa l of NOx. Analysis shows that the higher the concentration of oxygen, the more obvious effects of CO2 dilution, and the lower the concentrations of NO x is; N2 diluted fuel flames mass flow is more effective than dilution air flow to reduce the effects of NOx concentrations. CO2 and N2 are eith er air or fuel dilution, the dilution would reduce NOx emissions ,in the s ame speed air dilution is more effective than the diluted fuel to reduce the eff ects of NOxconcentration. However, the increase of the dilution concentrat ions will lead to temperature drop. Under fuel-lean conditions with SO2, the greater the sulphur in N/S is, the smaller the formation of NOx concentrat ion is; Under fuel-rich conditions with SO2, the greater the sulphur in N/S i s, the greater the formation of NOx concentration is.
