Title: Exploring on the levels of IL-17,IL-23,TGF-β,and IL-10 in serum of patients with chronic hepatitis B
Abstract: This study aims to explore the level of cytokines and their function in serum of patients of hepatitis B.The levels of IL-17,IL-23,TGF-β and IL-10 were detected by ELISA,while HBV-DNA was detected by RT-PCR.We also tested the liver function of patients. We found that IL-10 was significantly increased in hepatitis B as compared with health control, but IL-7,IL-10 and TGF-β demonstrate no significant difference in the two groups;we also found that IL-17 and IL-10 were positively correlated with transaminase level,TGF-β was negatively correlated with transaminase level, and IL-10 was positively correlated with HBV-DNA.All this result indicate that IL-17,IL-10 and TGF-β are associated with the progress and development of hepatitis B,and IL-10 is associated with the pathogenesis of chronic hepatitis.
