Title: Review of the Antibiotic Use in Outpatients of Our Hospital During 2010-2011
Abstract: OBJECTIVE: To probe into the status quo and rationality of the antibiotic use in the outpatients of our hospital.METHODS: The outpatient antibiotic use was surveyed retrospectively.RESULTS: Antibiotics were prescribed in 29.8%(4 821/16 454) of the outpatient prescriptions.In the total 4 426 prescriptions in which systemic administration was involved,the use of one antibiotic alone,two and three antibiotics in combination accounted for 81.45%(3 605/4 426),18.26%(808/4 426) and 0.29%(13/4 426),respectively.A total of 47 antibiotics were used,with cephalosporins,penicillins,macrolides and fluoroquinolones used mostly frequently.CONCLUSION: The antibiotic use in the outpatients of the hospital basically reasonable.
