Abstract: In traditional salary system, the salary level relates to individual administrative or managerial position. Therefore for a long time promotion has been regarded as the leading award or motivation. However it is well known that limited leading positions can never meat everyone's demand, which urges enterprises to look for more motivative methods. Recently wide-band salary system appears and becomes a popular motivation.This paper probes into this issue.
