Title: Effect of Anodizing Parameters for Two-Step Applied Voltage Route on the Morphology of Anodic TiO_2 Film
Abstract: Titanium anode was anodized by using a two-step applied voltage mediod. The effects of initial potential, final po-tential , and temperature of electrolyte as well as anodizing time on the morphology of the anodized titania films were investigated by means of scanning electron microscopy. Results indicate that the effect of initial potential on the morphology of the anodized titania films was realized by changing the interface state between the elec-trolvte and barrier. The size of the nanopores of the anodized titaniafilms decreased with extending anodizing time, while the pore density increased therewith. Moreover, increasing electrolyte temperature had no effect on the formation of the nanopores but led to significant change of the growing process of TiO_2 films.
