Title: Clinical study of xerophthalmia treated by pranoprofen eye drops combined with sodium hyaluronate eye drops
Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of the xerophthalmia treated by the pranoprofen eye drops combined with the sodium hyaluronate eye drops. Methods A total of 120 cases(240 eyes) of xerophthalmia were analyzed in our hospital from October 2010 to June 2013. 120 cases were randomly divided into control group and treatment group. The patients in control group were treated with sodium hyaluronate eye drops, while the treatment group were treated with pranoprofen eye drops combined sodium hyaluronate eye drops. At the same time the two groups were given physical treatment, such as eyelid clean and hot compress, meibomian gland massage, etc. Then the efficacy of the two groups were compared. Results In two groups after the treatment, the total effective rate of treatment group was 96.7%, while the control group was 88.3%. The two groups was statistically significant(P 0.05). Conclusion The efficacy of the xerophthalmia treated by the pranoprofen eye drops combined with the sodium hyaluronate eye drops is exact.
