Title: The Preparation and Characterization of Starch-g-MMA by Solid Phase Method
Abstract: This paper studied on reaction rule between corn starch and methyl methacrylate's graft copolymerization by using APS as initiator. The effects of water content, reaction time, reaction temperature, contents of the MMA monomer and the initiator on the graft copolymerization were investigated. It was showed that graft copolymer with higher grafting ratio and grafting efficiency was obtained when the mass fraction of water in reaction system was about 40%, MMA mass was 15%of corn starch mass, APS mass was 8% of corn starch mass, the reaction temperature was 80℃ and the reaction time was about 0.5 h. The graft copolymer was characterized through FTIR, TGA and XRD.
