Abstract: On the basis of the multimodal metaphor's concept and relevant theories,an analysis of public service advertisements is done in terms of multimodal metaphor's distinctive features including dynamic narrativity,vividness,and universality,studying how the multimodal metaphor can be reflected in public service advertisements to facilitate deepening the understanding of multimodal metaphor.
