Title: Effect of heat stress on the contents of free proline, soluble sugar and amlondiadehyde in Dioscorea zingiberensis leaves
Abstract: The effect of heat stress on the contents of free proline (Pro) .soluble sugar and malondiadehyde (MDA) was studied in the research.The results are as follows. The content of proline and soluble sugar in Dioscorea zingibereruis gradually increase under the high temperature stress .At the same time,the content of MDA increases at the beginning and decreases later time on, and it is quite different from other plant reaction. It also suggests that the four population originally derived from Hubei Shiyan, Hunan Luxi, Shanxi Ankang and Shiquan have the higher accumulation of free proline and soluble sugar.
