Title: Simultaneous determination of five phenolic acids in Fufang Danshen tablets by quantitative analysis of multi-components by single marker
Abstract: Objective: To develop a new method for simultaneous determination of five phenolic acids in Fufang Danshen tablets and validate its feasibility. Methods: Five phenolic acids,namely danshensu,protocatechuic aldehyde,rosmarinic acid,purple acid and salvianolic acid B,were selected as analytes to evaluate the quality of Fufang Danshen tablets. The relative correction factors(RCF) of sodium danshensu to the five phenolic acids were calculated. The method was evaluated by comparison of the quantitative results between external standard method and quantitative analysis of multi-components by single marker( QAMS) method. Results: No significant differences were found in the quantitative results of five phenolic acids between external standard method and QAMS method. Conclusion: The described QAMS method is feasible and accurate,and can be used for the quality control of Fufang Danshen tablets.
