Title: Diagnostic Value of Transvaginal Ultrasound in Uterine Endometrial Polyps
Abstract: Objective To explore the diagnostic value of transvaginal ultrasound in uterine endometrial polyps and utrasonographic characteristics.Methods Utrasonogram for 48 cases of uterine endometrial polyps were diagnosed by transvaginal ultrasound compared with hysteroscopy and pathology.Results The diagnostic accuracy for uterine endometrial polyps by transvaginal ultrasound were 95.8%(46/48).Conclusion There are some characteristics on the utrasonogram,It has important practical value for transvaginal ultrasound at diagnosing uterine endometrial polyps:the two dimensional image shows hige-echo lump in the shape of spot or water drip.The smaller polyp(5 mm) has no blood signal inside while the bigger ployp shows the shape of spot or thick stripe and even the branched blood signal.
