Title: Philosophical Turn and Characteristics of China's Teaching Theories in the Past Century
Abstract: The teaching theories in China started by imitating and transplanting those from the early beginning.Even though the theoretical system and the values of teaching theories have witnessed constant changes owing to the constant turntakings of the philosophical values in ethicality,knowledge,subjectivity and dialogism along the process in the past over 100 years,the western dualism has always been the leading principle in our education.With the development of China's economy and the rise of the international status per se,the western countries have paid more attention to our ancient oriental civilizations,and the teaching theories in China have come to the critical moment of discarding the western philosophical values,surpass the tradition,and hence to start a new epoch with subject and object unification,which should bear the following characters.First,there should be no subject-object division:without knowledge,learning subject cannot exist;and without learning subject,knowledge has no significance.Second,learners,texts,and authors form a community with an equal status:their ethical requirement is cooperative,and their spiritual home islanguage.Third,teachers,students,and peers stay in the relation of interdependence,each bringing up their ideas through language,and creating new knowledge and meanings in dialogues.
