Title: Process Mineralogy of a Low-grade Polymetallic Tungsten Ore in Southwest China
Abstract: A polymetallic tungsten ore is associated in a pyroxene-garnet skarn containing a variety of low grade valuable metals. The tungsten is associated with copper, bismuth, molybdenum, etc. And the gangue mineral combination is complicated in that a lot of augites and andradite are associated with high calcium minerals such as calcite, fluorite, etc. From the perspective of process mineralogy, the relationship between mineralogy characteristic of this low-grade tungsten-polymetallic ore and beneficiation was studied in this paper, focusing on the mineral composition, the occurrence of tungsten, copper, bismuth, molybdenum. This study provides an adequate basis for designing reasonable mineral processing flow-sheet.
