Abstract:Objective:To investigate the influence of tramadol postoperative analgesia on postoperative nausea and vomiting.Methods:One hundred and thirty five ASA Ⅰ to Ⅱ patients who had undergone abdominal oper...Objective:To investigate the influence of tramadol postoperative analgesia on postoperative nausea and vomiting.Methods:One hundred and thirty five ASA Ⅰ to Ⅱ patients who had undergone abdominal operation were divided into 3 groups.Group A(45 patients) didn't receive any postoperative epidural analgesia.Group B(45 patients) received postoperative epidural analgesia without ondansetron.Group C(45 patients) received postoperative epidural analgesia plus ondansetron.Results:There was no significant difference between group A and B in the occurrence of postoperative nausea and vomiting( P 0.05).The occurrence of postoperative nausea and vomiting in group C was significantly lower than that in group A and B( P 0.005).There was no significant difference between group B and C in the effect of postoperative analgesia( P 0.05).Conclusions:In the abdominal operation,the postoperative epidural analgesia tramadol does not increase the occurrence of postoperative nausea and vomiting.The occurrence of postoperative nausea and vomiting can be decreased when ondansetron is added to the postoperative epidural analgesia liquid.Read More
