METHODS Ninety patinets were selected this experiment, ASA Ⅰ~Ⅱ, male 15, female 75. Ninety patients were randomly divided into three group,Ⅰ group, control (without anti vomiting agents), Ⅱ group, with droperidol 5 mg, Ⅲ group, with ondansetron 8 mg. Ninety patients were administered the controlled epidural analgesia (PCEA) with morphine at end of operation. The analgesic effect, hemodynamics and the side effects such as nausea and vomiting were observed for 48 h after operation. SBP,DBP,HR,SPO 2 were recorded simultaneously at end of operation, 12, 24, 48 h after operation. RESULTS The SBP,DBP,HR,SPO 2 were not significant difference at end of operation, 12 h, 24 h, 48 h after operation. The analgesic effect of ninety patients were very good, and there were not significant difference between three groups ( P 0 05). The rate of postoperative nausea and vomiting in the Ⅲ group was significantly lower than one of postoperative nausea and vomiting in the Ⅰ group Ⅱ group ( P 0 01). CONCLUSION These data indicate that the ondansetron can effectively prevent the postoperative nausea and vomiting induced by PCEA.Read More
