Title: Integrative Chinese and Western Medicine for Treating 48 Cases with Diabetic Gastroparesis
Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of integrative Chinese and western medicine on diabetic gastroparesis. Methods:96 cases with diabetic gastroparesis were randomized into observation group and control group,with 48 cases in each group. Control group were conducted diet control,health education on diatetes,protection of gastric mucosa,blood sugar control,stopped use of drugs which may influence the gastrointestinal function,and Mosapride 10 m L for 3 times per day. Observation group were additionally given Self-formulated Xingqi Hewei Yutan Tang( XQHWYTT). Results: the epigastric distension( 0. 97 ± 0. 38),belching( 1. 02 ± 0. 37),vomiting and nausea( 0. 92 ± 0. 42) and epigastric pain( 0. 75 ± 0. 25) in treatment group were all lower than these in control group( with respective 1. 32 ± 0. 42,1. 45 ± 0. 41,1. 23 ± 0. 43,1. 12 ± 0. 33)( P 0. 05); the effective rate of treatment group was 93. 75%,higher than that of control group( 81. 25%)( P 0. 05). Conclusion: Integrative Chinese and western medicine has significant effect on diabetic gastroparesis.
