Title: An Analysis of HRCT in Diagnosis of 21 Clinical Cases with Bronchiectasi
Abstract: Object:To explore the value of Thin-section scans of CT in the diagnosis of bron-chiectasis. Methods:21 patients with suspected bronchiectasis doubled were selected and X-rayfilms of chest, spiral data (both slice thickness 10mm and 2mm) were performed. Results:Thin-section scans of CTshowed better sensitivity and specificity the than X-ray and CT (10mm CTscan).In the 21 cases, there were diagnosed cystic bronchiectasis 6 cases, cylindrical bronchiectasis 8 cases,varicose bronchiectasis 5 cases and mixed bronchiectasis 8 cases. Conclusion: Thin-section scansof CT has the advantage over other methods on the diagnosis of bronchiectasis, and should be thefirst choice method for the suspected bronchiectasis .
