This paper presents significant aspects of the electrophoretic deposition technique. Particular attention is given to: 1. A discussion of the colloidal polymer particle in aqueous suspension. 2. The relationship of structure and function of various polymer latices. 3. The experimental set up for examining the electrophoretic phenomena. The economic, selective, and unique advantages of electrophoretic deposition are compared with conventional coating technologies. Design applications and fabrication techniques are described.Read More
