Title: The clinical effects of CT-guided bipolar radiofrequency thermocoagulation combined ozone injection on lumbar disc herniation
Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical effects and safety of the bipolar radiofrequency thermocoagulation combined ozone injection on lumbar disc herniation(LDH). Methods 62 patients with LDH were treated with bipolar radiofrequency thermocoagulation combined ozone injection. The patients were followed up at 7,14,30 and 180 days after treatment. The clinical effects were evaluated with modified Macnab method and side effects were recorded. Results The excellent and good rates at 14,30,90 and 180 days after treatment were 62.9%,85.4%,90.3% and 93.5%, respectively. Conclusion Bipolar radiofrequency thermocoagulation combined ozone injection is a safe and effective microinvasive treatment for LDH,with the characteristics of simple to perform, easy to master, minimally invasive, without serious complication.
