Title: Detection of a Low-affinity receptor for immunoglobine in childre with henock-schonlein purpura nephritis
Abstract: Objective To explore the relationship between a low-affinity receptor for immunoglobin E (IgE) and etiology of Henock-Schonlein Purpura Nephritis (HSPN) in children. Methods The ratio of CD23 positive peripheral lymphocytes in 20 cases with HSPN and 20 health children were detected by folow cytometry. Results The levels of CD23-positive peripheral lymphocytes were significonty increased in patients with HSPN (25.09%±5.92%)compared with control group(14.96%±4.54%) (P0.01).Conclusion It appeared that low-affinity receptor may play a significant role in the etiology of HSPN.
