Title: CT,MRI Diagnosis and Analysis of Ophthalmocele Resulted from Benign Masses behind Eyeball of Oribit
Abstract: Objective To summarize the CT and MR imaging of 45 patients with benign masses behind eyeball of orbit,to analyse the characteristic of imaging and the significance of enhancement of scan.Method A total of 45 cases ( 29 men and 16 wonen,average age 41.3 years) were examined with GE MAX 640 and HITACHI MR imaging system.13 cases were examined with enhancement of CT scan,5 cases were done with enhancement of MR scan.Result Hemangioma 7 cases,pesudotumor 6 cases,cacrimal gland tumor 6 cases,neurofibroma 2 cases.Conclusion ①The accuracy of diagnosis for location and character of MR is higher than that of CT.②MAR scan is a available method of distinguishing benign from malignant tumor.③The enhancement of CT and MAR scan has not prominent significance for character of diagnosis for benign masses of arbit,excluding cystoid,vascular masses and abscess under periosteum.
