Title: Investigation on depression and nursing intervention in patients with stroke
Abstract: Objective To explore the depressive state and the effect of nursing intervention in patients with stroke.Methods Zung SDS and questionnaire were used to investigate 120 patients with stroke on admission and 2 months after nursing intervention.Results In patients with different educational levels,ages,sex and stroke part,the occurrence of depression was significantly different( P 0.05);SDS score was 64.68 ± 8.33 on admission,51.42 ± 7.69 after nursing intervention,which decreased significantly( t = 12.813,P 0.001).Conclusions Good nurse-patient communication and proactive care intervention significantly improved depressive symptoms.
