Title: Corpus-based Lexical Chunk Learning in Improving English Translating Skill
Abstract: To investigate the effects of Observe- Hypothesize- Experimentcorpus- based chunk learning on translating skill,a study is conducted where students in the experimental class learn lexical chunks which advocated by Lewis. The results show that the experimental class outperforms the controlled class in achievement in the test,and their translating skill can be improved significantly by chunk learning.
