Title: Extraction of total flavonoids from Crataegi Froctus by orthogonal design
Abstract: Objective To confirm the optimum extraction of the total flavonoids from Crataegi Froctus.Methods The orthogonal test was used to optimize the extracting condition using L9(34) table.Total flavonoids determined by colorimeter was taken as the evaluating marker.The decoction pieces granularity,ethanol dosage,ethanol concentration and the extracting time were considered influencing factors.Results The optimum extraction conditions were refluxed with 8 times amount of 70% alcohol for 3 times(2h,1h,1h).Conclusion The contents of the flavonoids obtained were high by the optimum extraction conditions.The technique is simple and adapts for industrialized production.
