Title: The Relationship Between HPV18E6 Infection, the Expression of PCNA,p53 and Cervix Squamous-celled Carcinoma
Abstract: Objective The correlation between cervical cancer and the expression of human papillomaviral infection, proliferating cell nuclear antigen and p53 was investigated in our study. Methods The expression of HPV18E6,PCNA and p53 were examined in these forty-two paraffin blocks undertaken immunohistochemical treatment. Results The expression rate of HPV18E6 in the patients of cervix squamous-celled carcinoma is 73.81%.The expression rate is higher in the patients of keratotic squamous-celled carcinoma than in the patients of non-keratotic squamous-celled carcinoma, but there is no statistical significance(P0.05).The expression rate of PCNA in the patients of cervix squamous-celled carcinoma is 83.33%.The expression rate of p53 in the patients of cervix squamous-celled carcinoma is 42.86%.The expression rate is higher in the patients with lymphaden transfer than in the patients without lymphaden transfer, and there is statistical significance(P0.05).Conclusions The higher expression of HPV18E6 is the marker of cervix epithelial dysplasia and canceration. The expression of HPV18E6 positively correlated with the expression of PCNA.The expression of them could enhance the activation of anti-oncogene p53.The over-expression of p53 positively correlated with the lymphaden transfer, highly malignancy and bad prognosis.
