Title: Study on the expression and significance of E-CD,CD44s and VEGF in human non-small cell lung cancer with lymph node metastasis
Abstract: Objective:To study expression of epithelia cadhesion(E-CD),standardized CD44(CD44s)and vascular endothelial cell growth factor(VEGF)in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)and investigate their relationship with lymph node metastasis. Methods:The expression of E-CD,CD44s,VEGF was retrospectively determined by SP immunohistochemical technique in 53 patients with NSCLC and 12 cases normal lung tissues. Results:The positive expression of E-CD in NSCLC was significantly lower than that in normal tissues(P0.01).The positive expressions of E-CD was significantly inversely correlated with the lymph node metastasis(P0.05).The positive expression of CD44s and VEGF in NSCLC was significantly higher than that in normal lung tissues(P0.05),respectively.The expression of CD44s in normal tissue was negative. The positive expression of CD44s in with or without lymph node metastasis group was significant different(P0.05).The expression of VEGF was significantly correlated with lymph node metastasis(P0.05).Conclusion:E-CD,CD44s and VEGF play important roles in the process of soakage and metastasis of NSCLC.To study the expression of E-CD,CD44s and VEGF in NSCLC could contribute to evaluate prognosis and targeting treatment of NSCLC.
