Title: The Degassing Effect of JDN-I Flux on Aluminium Melt
Abstract: The degassing effect of a new flux JDN -I containing RE compounds was investigated. The experimental results indicate that in comparison with by no flux, by covering the flux on the melt at 720℃ ,the hydrogen content of A356 melt has been decreased from 0.30mL /100gAl to 0.09mL /100gAl and that of A199.9 melt from 0.25mL/100gAl to 0. 14ml/100gAl, and at 700℃ ,the hydrogen content of A356 melt has been decreased from 0.18mL/100gAl to 0.08mI/100gAl and that of A199.9 melt from 0.19mL /100gAl to 0.12mL /100gAl. The degassing mechanism of the flux has been aslo discussed simply.
