Title: Control of Hydrogen in Superheated Aluminum Melt
Abstract: Based on measurement of the hydrogen content of the aluminum melt at different superheated temperature using HYSCAN Ⅱ,the quantitative relationship between the hydrogen content and the superheated temperature in the aluminum melt was studied.It was found that the hydrogen content in superheated aluminum melt could be controlled using heat rate treatment.The experiment result revealed that the hydrogen content in the aluminum melt increased with increase of temperature in a certain superheated temperature range.When the form of the hydrogen in the superheated aluminum melt was different,its reversibility was also different.It could greatly reduce the hydrogen content in superheated aluminum melt using the heat rate treatment.
