Title: Dilution of Precision Analysis for GNSS Collaborative Positioning
Abstract: Performance analysis of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) collaborative positioning accuracy is a challenging task since there are too many impact factors. To simplify the analysis, the collaborative dilution of precision (CDOP) model is proposed to specify the multiplicative effect of various factors on the accuracy of collaborative positioning. Based on this CDOP model, the theoretical analysis and simulation tests are performed, and the results are compared with GNSS standalone positioning. The impacts of the number of users and their distribution and of relative distance measurement accuracy are also analyzed and verified under this CDOP model. Experiments are carried out with several real-time GNSS receivers in actual outdoor and partially blockage scenarios, respectively, and the results are consistent with theoretical analysis.
