Title: Evaluation of depressurization effect on gerontism hypertension at different administration times with ambulatory blood pressure monitoring
Abstract: Objective To compare the influence of different administration times on gerontism hypertensive, and to explore a rational and effective time of administration. Methods Seventy patients with non-dipper type hypertension were randomly divided into two groups. The patients were given amlodipine besylate tablet for 8 weeks in the morning and at night in two groups, respectively. The 24 h ambulatory blood pressure was monitored.Blood pressure was recorded before and after treatment. Results The blood pressure decreased steadily and effectively in two groups, and there was no significant difference between two groups(P0.05).The changes of diurnal rhythm of blood pressure had significant difference between those after administration at night and in the morning(P0.05).Conclusion Administration at night is better to change diurnal rhythm of blood pressure and control hypertension than administration in the morning.
