Title: Study of Sorption Behavior of Zn~(2+)/Phenol/CTAB Combined Pollutant on Calcined Kaolin
Abstract: After a comparison of the effect of adsorption on calcined kaolin among Zn2+,phenol,CTAB units and the ternary combined pollutants, this paper explored the adsorption effect on the calcined kaolin in different dosages and p H values. The removal rates of Zn2+,phenol and CTAB were 95.98%,72.73% and 90.50% in the single pollutant system;the removal rates of Zn2+、phenol and CTAB were 92.12%,83.60% and 88.27% in the multi-pollutant system. It demonstrates that Zn2+and CTAB produced antagonistic effect;meanwhile,multi-pollutant system promoted the adsorption of phenol. By infrared analysis,it showed that after compound adsorption, the stretching vibration peak of Si-O(990 cm-1)produced a larger deviation, and the vibration peak of C-H(818 cm-1)disappeared. It showed that there was chemical adsorption.
