Title: Epidemic of Class A and B Communicable Diseases in Pizhou,2004-2009
Abstract: Objective To analyze the epidemiological trend of class A and B communicable diseases in Pizhou from 2004 to 2009,and provide evidence for the effective prevention and control of communicable diseases.Methods Descriptive epidemiological analysis was conducted on the incidence data of class A and B communicable diseases during this period.Results A total of 11 675 cases of 22 communicable diseases in class B were reported.The average annual incidence was 116.97/105.The average annual incidence of respiratory diseases was highest(75.17/105),followed by the incidence of blood borne disease and sexual transmitted diseases(21.49/105),the incidence of intestinal infections(17.90/105) and the incidence of disease of natural focus/arthropod-borne infectious diseases(2.39/105).In recent 6 years,the disease spectrum changed frequently.The incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis always accounted for the largest proportion in the constituent of disease incidence,and the incidence of syphilis ranked fifth in 2009.Measles incidence increased again during 2006-2009,and pandemic influenza A(H1N1) emerged in 2009.Conclusion During 2004-2009,respiratory diseases were the major communicable diseases in Pizhou.It is necessary to strengthen the prevention and control of respiratory diseases in the future.
