Positive attitude towards the job is conceptually equivalent to job satisfaction and negative attitude leads dissatisfaction. Job satisfaction is essential for performing good services by an employee. There are various job dimensions which are responsible for the job satisfaction of a librarian in library. The dimensions of job satisfaction are work ‘itself, pay, supervision, promotion, work group, working conditions, personal determinations (age, gender, occupational level, tenure, educational level) and commitment. The efforts being made to establishment the relationship of various job dimensions with job satisfactions of librarians as reflected in the studies done by various scholars from time to time.Read More
