High values for phenotypic coefficient of variation (PCV) and genotypic coefficient of variation (GCV) was recorded for grain yield/plant (g) and fodder yield/plant. High heritability coupled with high genetic advance was observed for plant height at maturity and fodder yield/plant and grain yield/plant. Fodder yield/plant and 1000 grain weight were found to be significant and positively correlated with Grain yield/plant. The result of path coefficient analysis showed that days to 50% flowering, plant height, length of panicle, width of panicle, fodder yield/plant and 1000 grain weight had positive direct effect on grain yield/plant.Read More
