Title: Clinical pathological Study on NF-κ B and HIF-1 Expression in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix
Abstract: Objective:Clinical pathological significance of NF-κB and HIF-1 expression was investigated.Methods:NF-κB and HIF-1 expression were assayed by immunohistochemical method and its significance was evaluated in cervical intraepithelial neo-plasia and squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix.Results:NF-κB positive expression rate in normal cervical epithelium,CINⅠ,CINⅡ,CINⅢ,squamous cell carcinoma were respectively 16%,36%,44%,68%,72%,which significant difference exits(x2=21.636,p0.01),and there is significant difference between normal cervical epithelium and CINⅢ,squamous cell carcinoma.HIF-1αpositive ex-pression rate in normal cervical epithelium,CINⅠ,CINⅡ,CINⅢ,squamous cell carcinoma were respectively 12%,20%,40%,68%,76%,which significant difference exits(x2=32.733,p0.01),and there is significant difference between normal cervical epithelium and CINⅢ,squamous cell carcinoma.Conclusions:NF-κB and HIF-1 were related to cervical squamous cell carcinoma and may be biomarkers for early diagnosis.
