Title: Water Injection on Waer Needling Acupuncture Analgesic Effect to Zusanli Acupoint of White Rats (Rattus novegicus)
Abstract: Waer needling is therapy used to inject the medicated solution into acupoint to produce synthetic effect acupuncture. This research aim to know water injection in Zusanli acupoint to analgesic.Sixteen adult male rats were randomly divide into five group (control, acupuncture and lidocaine 10-2, 10-4 and 10-6 g/ml acupuncture and water, and only acupuncture. Lidocaine or water was injected into Zusanli point as much 0.05 ml before electro acupuncture ( 2 Hz, 0.002 mV, 5 minute) treatment to determine the effect analgesic conducted flick tail test.Analgesic effect of 10-2 lidocaine (0.03 0.01sec.) is not significantly different from control (p = 0,100) but significantly lower from acupuncture 0.10 0.03 sec. (p = 0.000). Analgesic of 10-4 lidocaine (0.05 0.01sec) is significantly lower from control (p = 0.038) and acupuncture (p = 0.000). Analgesic of 10-6 lidocaine (0.03 0.01 sec.) is signficantly higher from control (p =0.000) but is not significantly different from acupunture (p = 0.186). Analgesic effect of water (0.07 ± 0.03 sec) is not significantly from acupuncture.Effectivity of acupuncture analgesic is not only influence by tension of acupoint but it was also correlated by material of consentration which injected in acupoint.
