Abstract: Rigid pavements experiences different types of distress such as longitudinal, transverse, fatigue and joint cracks due to moving traffic loading and thermal stresses.
The knowledge of response of rigid pavement structures under traffic loads and thermal gradients is essential for the design of new pavements and suggest remedial measures
for existing pavements. Finite Element (FE) modeling is a powerful tool that can be used to study the effect of traffic load thermal variation along the depth of slab, slab geometry, joints and properties of underlying layers on the stress induced in the rigid pavement. In recent past, numerous FE software has been developed for the analysis of both rigid and flexible pavements, and these packages has become very powerful tools in the hands of pavement analysts and designer. This paper present the study carried on rigid pavement using pavement finite element analysis packages called EverFE. The factor such as strength of concrete, properties of base layers, temperature and loading
