The injection system, comprising a 12 MeV linac and 600 MeV synchrotron has been operational for two years, and its performance has been reported elsewhere. This report describes the performance of the various systems which make up the storage ring, gives a detailed account of the injection system, and reports accelerator physics observations to date. Also included is a status report on the 5T superconducting wiggler magnet planned for installation later in the year, and an outline of plans to modify the lattice to increase the source brightness.Read More
