Title: Directions for Response to Consumerism: The Consumer Viewpoint.
Abstract: A considerable number of viewpoints have been offered as the causes of consumerism. This article explores the attitudes of two groups of consumers toward consumerism measured by the Consumer Discontent Scale. These results are discussed and major areas for response to consumer discontent are provided as a starting point in resolving the consumerism issue.
