Abstract: François Dolbeau, Le dossier de saint Dominique de Sora, d'Albéric du Mont-Cassin à Jacques de Voragine, p. 7-78. Saint Dominique de Sora (t 1031) est resté célèbre par ses fondations monastiques comme par son hostilité aux prêtres mariés. Son dossier hagiographique est complexe et n'a jamais été classé de façon satisfaisante. La Vie publiée jusqu'à maintenant sous le nom d'Albéric du Mont-Cassin (BHL 2244) n'est qu'un texte abrégé, à destination liturgique. L'ouvrage authentique d'Albéric, qui est édité ici d'après une copie du début du XVIIe siècle (Roma, Bibl. Vallicelliana, H 18, f. 407-432v), est en réalité cinq fois plus étendu. C'est aussi le récit le plus ancien sur Dominique, dont dépendent tous les autres. La pièce la plus récente paraît être la recension inédite BHL 2243, que divers témoignages attribuent explicitement à Jacques de Voragine.
