Learn more.Copy URL Share a linkShare onEmailFacebookTwitterLinkedInRedditWechat Abstract Pr0.65Ca0.35MnO3 (PCMO) thin films were prepared on various substrates, i.e., YSZ, SiTiN, Polico, and LaAlO3 at the same deposition conditions. The films had different Mn valence states according to the substrates. These differences are related with the formation of Mn3+ and Mn4+ ions in the PCMO films. By using Pr M4, 5-, Ca L2, 3-, Mn L2, 3-, and O K-edge X-ray absorption spectroscopy, we found that the Mn3+/Mn4+ ratio in the PCMO films changes according to the structural condition of substrate.
