The author then organizes classic and recent research into two dimensions. The first group is for scholars defining literacy as universal or contextual, and the second group defines literacy as text management or communication. Combining these classifications with a third one, a meta-framework, produces four conceptual maps that help to make sense of the literacy research landscape.Read More
